Time blocking is a very powerful tool to increase focus, work in more productive batches of tasks and to ensure all your areas of responsibility get enough attention. In this video, I will show you how to use time blocking template I created that will help you do your own time blocking.

The template here is done in Notion, but you can use the same approach in other systems. Here is the template to copy for your own use:

Most of us wear many “hats.” As an entrepreneur, I wear hats like these:

  • Business Manager
  • Marketer
  • Content Developer
  • Author
  • Publisher
  • Speaker
  • Workshop Creator and more

If I let any one of these areas overrun the others, my business starts to struggle. For example, I don’t get a regular paycheck – my new clients and income come from marketing. So I have 25% of my time blocks set aside for marketing each week.

This time blocking template was created using Notion, but you can do this in other programs as well like an excel spreadsheet or PowerPoint. I created a pull down menu to be able to easily insert the category of work into my time blocks. You can copy this time blocking template and use it for your own use.
