Checklist Productivity Pack: 5 Simple Checklists to Turbocharge Your Day

I LOVE checklists. I use them for everything, from packing my bag for a trip to making sure I’ve got everything I need when I’m going to speak at a conference. It’s so easy to forget things when you’re distracted, and checklists help me focus on what really matters. This is why I decided to create a free Checklist Productivity Pack for you.

This pack includes checklists for:

  • task analysis
  • focus
  • delegation
  • inbox zero for email
  • running effective meetings

I’ve designed these productivity pack checklists in Notion so they’re easy to duplicate and customize for your own use.

1. Task Analysis Checklist #

One of the most important things you can do to be productive is to make sure you’re working on the right things.

As a manager, you need to know how your team is spending their time—and what they’re wasting it on.

The first checklist in our productivity pack is the Task Analysis checklist. This checklist is used to review EACH task BEFORE you work to determine if this is the highest priority task you should be working on or if you can Dump, Automate, Delegate, or Defer the task.

2. Delegation Checklist #

Delegation is one of the most important skills you’ll ever learn as a manager—it’s how you can get more done, make your employees feel more empowered, and leave them feeling invested in the work they do.

But it’s also easy to get overwhelmed and forget to delegate at all! Or maybe you have a tendency to over-delegate, or even under-delegate? The result is that nothing gets done and everybody feels frustrated.

That’s where our delegation checklist comes in. It helps you set clear priorities so that everyone knows what they need to achieve, while still giving them the freedom to take ownership of their tasks.

It also helps you give clearer instructions so there are fewer questions and less confusion about what needs to be done. This means you can manage multiple projects at once without getting distracted or stressed out by details that don’t matter—and your team will feel more confident knowing they’ve been given the tools they need to succeed!

3. Running Effective Meetings Checklist #

According to studies, 92% of workers feel meetings are a waste of time. But what if you could get more out of your meetings?

I’m sure you’ve heard the advice about how important it is to have a good meeting structure, right? A clear purpose, an agenda, and an end time— are all important things to think about when planning your next meeting.

But what if there was something else you could do to make sure your meeting maximizes its potential? What if there was a checklist you could use that would help turn these boring, waste-of-time meetings into full-engagement power sessions that help your team brainstorm and solve problems?

That’s where our Running Effective Meetings checklist comes in! If you need additional meeting help, check out our Team Meeting Pro Tips workshop.

4. Focus Checklist #

When was the last time you were able to concentrate on a task for more than five minutes?

We have a feeling it’s been a while. And that’s not surprising, because these days, we’re constantly distracted by our phones, computers, and emails. It’s almost impossible to get anything done without being distracted.

But if there’s one thing we’ve learned from working with clients all over the world, it’s that focus is the most important element for success. Whether you’re performing a life-saving medical procedure or building the next generation of world-changing inventions, focus is critical.

So how do we get back on track? What can we do to regain our focus when distractions are everywhere? We’ve found that a simple checklist can help us stay focused on our projects, even when they seem impossible!

But if you’re like most people, your email inbox is overflowing with emails that have piled up over the course of days or weeks—and it’s making you feel overwhelmed and frustrated.

If this sounds like you, don’t worry! We’ve got your back. Our Inbox Zero Email Checklist will help you take control of your email so you can use it to its full potential rather than let it control your life.  If you need more email handling help, check out our Inbox Zero Email Mastery training.
