As “Captain Time” a time management author, speaker and coach, I use AI daily to get more done. One of my favorite AI tools that I use is Claude.ai. Here is my brief Claude AI review to show you how I use it in my daily workflow and business.
Why Claude AI?
Why am I using Claude AI instead of other options? For weeks, when I first started using AI, I pinned 4 different AI tools in my browser and tested them all on each of my questions. Claude AI regularly had the best responses and I found myself using the others less and less.
Here is my experience with Claude vs other AI tools.
- More human – a more natural conversational tone. The writing seems less stilted to me
- It is able to create content that matches my “voice”
- Projects feature (Pro version) – this allows me to pull together my chat questions into a project umbrella. I can also provide knowledge to the project so Claude AI will incorporate that knowledge in future

- New products, services and workshops
- Names for new product and services “Time Titans” and “Connection Champions”
- New workshop ideas
- New content ideas
Writing
- Brainstorm headlines for blog posts
- Write articles
- Write outlines for workshops
- Write lesson plans for my online courses
- Social media messaging
- Sales emails
- Sales page copy
- Business networking introductions
Planning
- Write marketing plans
- Identify passive income streams for my business
- Brainstorming approaches “How can a time management trainer approach financial planning firms to offer professional development training?”
Claude AI Room for Improvement
Of course, there is always room to improve tools and Claude is no exception. Here are some things I hope Claude will get better at in future.
- No real-time access to the Internet. Claude can’t go out to my website and grab current information to work into a proposal or letter. I can copy and paste information or upload a file, but Claude can’t take info from a URL.
- Occasionally some “glitches” when it doesn’t want to answer questions that might hurt someone’s feelings
- Often says it is too busy and defaults to concise replies. I don’t mind this when I am on a free account, but I don’t think this should happen when I am on a pro account
